And what if after a year of physical therapy he goes on to live a productive and fulfilled life? Or even with disabling injuries, he still manages to find purpose and happiness in his existence? Are you able to discern the entirety of his future history during this 15 second gif, or the time you would have on scene as he struggled to get out of his car?
If he ends up with a miserable life that he doesn't want to continue then he has the choice to end it. You making that decision for him is just your attempt at justifying your debilitating fear and incapability in the face of traumatic circumstance, and one in which you could make a difference.

That guy does survive. He gets out of the car right after the gif stops, is perfectly lucid and coherent and basically walks it off. He has some burns but nothing awful. The other two guys burn up though. It was some Russian guys that were speeding and lost control. Full video is somewhere on YNC.

I know there are a lot of times where people bitch about the cameraman not dropping the camera and helping and whatever, but with this guy standing ten feet away while someone reaches a non-flaming arm out for help I really don't get why he wouldn't reach out and grab it.
